ABOUT THE ROLE

We're recruiting a Community Manager & Social Media Specialist for a fast-growing global fintech business. This is a hands-on role where you'll own day-to-day community building, engagement, and growth strategies across multiple platforms in Southeast Asia.

This isn't a content-posting role. You'll be responsible for community ownership, strategy, moderation, growth initiatives, and building meaningful engagement with our audience. You'll work autonomously, make decisions, and drive real impact for the business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Community Management & Growth

• Own community building strategy across social platforms (Telegram, Discord, Twitter, Reddit)


• Drive engagement, growth, and active participation


• Community moderation and maintaining healthy discussions


• Partner with external agencies (but you own accountability)


• Build and execute community retention campaigns

Social Media Strategy & Execution

• Develop social media strategy for Southeast Asia market


• Create engaging content tailored to B2C fintech audience


• Manage day-to-day social media operations


• Analyse metrics and optimize performance

Growth & Impact

• Identify growth opportunities


• Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, operations teams


• Contribute to broader marketing strategy

Autonomy & Growth

• Work independently with minimal micromanagement


• Expand your skillset across multiple marketing areas


• Own your projects and drive them to completion

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Essential

✓ 3+ years community or social media management

✓ Proven track record building engaged communities

✓ Strong B2C social platform knowledge

✓ Data-driven mindset

✓ Excellent communication

✓ Autonomous work style

✓ Ambitious and keen to grow

Nice-to-Have

✓ Fintech/trading/payments experience

✓ Telegram, Discord experience

Location: Ideally hybrid in Dubai or possibly fully remote (on a B2B contract)
