Mascot Dresser

The Mascot Dresser is responsible for assisting mascots and costume
performers in dressing and undressing, ensuring costumes are properly
fitted, clean, and ready for use. This role includes maintaining
costume quality, assisting performers with quick changes, and
supporting the mascot team during events or appearances. The Mascot
Dresser plays a vital role in ensuring the mascot team is prepared to
deliver engaging and professional performances.

Key Responsibilities

Costume Assistance

• Assist mascots and performers in putting on and removing
  costumes, ensuring a proper fit and comfort.
  
• Help
  performers with quick changes during events, ensuring smooth
  transitions.
  
• Verify that all costume pieces,
  accessories, and props are correctly assembled and ready for use.
  

Costume Maintenance

• Inspect costumes before and after use for cleanliness, damage,
  or wear and tear.
  
• Perform minor repairs, such as
  sewing, gluing, or replacing costume parts, to maintain
  appearance and functionality.
  
• Coordinate with the
  wardrobe or costume department to schedule deep cleaning or major repairs.
  

Event Support

• Assist mascots during events or appearances by managing props,
  helping with crowd control, and ensuring performer
  safety.
  
• Ensure mascots have necessary hydration breaks
  and assist with any adjustments required during
  performances.
  
• Monitor costume conditions during events
  to maintain a high-quality presentation.
  

Storage and Inventory

• Organize and store costumes, accessories, and props in
  designated areas to prevent damage.
  
• Maintain an
  inventory of costumes and accessories, noting any missing or
  damaged items.
  
• Track and report the need for
  replacement or additional costume pieces.
