Job Description - Material Lab Consultant - Marble Division

Black and Grey HR is hiring a Material Lab Consultant – Marble Division for a leading building materials company. This is a customer-facing sales role focused on understanding project requirements, recommending the right natural stone solutions, and converting showroom enquiries into business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage with showroom visitors and understand their residential or commercial project requirements.

- Advise clients on marble and natural stone options, including varieties, finishes, applications, and suitability.

- Handle enquiries, prepare quotations, follow up with prospects, and drive sales conversions.

- Develop strong product knowledge and stay informed about pricing, availability, and market trends.

- Coordinate with production and operations teams on customized orders, fabrication, cutting, and delivery schedules.

- Ensure marble samples, displays, and showroom presentation are maintained to a high standard.

- Build long-term client relationships and generate repeat and referral business.

- Work towards individual and team sales targets.

Requirements

- Experience in marble, natural stone, interior materials, or showroom sales.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-handling abilities.

- Knowledge of marble varieties, finishes, and applications is preferred.

- Commercially driven with a proactive and service-oriented approach.

- Ability to understand client needs and recommend suitable material solutions.
