Lead and oversee the Mechanical Design process from concept to
completion of assigned projects.
Develop comprehensive designs for all Mechanical services, including
HVAC, Plumbing, Water Supply, LPG, Firefighting, drainage, and
storm water, adhering to local
international design codes and best
practices.
Coordinate with stakeholders to propose and implement alternative
systems during the concept and schematic design stages, ensuring
compliance with project requirements and codes.
Engage in discussions with clients, other disciplines, and external team
members to resolve MEP design complexities.
Prepare and submit design documents to relevant authorities and services
providers for approval.
Manage project documents, allocate tasks within the team, and ensure
adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
Utilize BIM (Rev it MEP) and Navisworks for design and coordination,
with the ability to review models for design and clash detection.
Proficient in various software such as MS -office, AutoCAD, Revit,
and Carrier HAP.
Thorough understanding of building standards and codes, including
ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, UPC, UAE Fire Code, green building principles
like Estimated, Al -Safat, and LEED.
Familiarity with related building design disciplines and a proactive
approach to identifying potential challenges and risks.
Willingness to learn and adapt to modern practices in mechanical
design, including sustainability requirements.
-Play an active role in company initiatives, incorporating technology
and data into work processes.
Assist in technical interviews for new hires in the mechanical
engineering department.
