Operations Specialist - UAE National (Emiratisation)

General Overview:

We are partnering with a well-established multinational insurance organisation in Dubai to identify a detail-oriented and analytically driven UAEN for the role of Operations Specialist.

This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional with strong Excel and analytical skills to build valuable experience within insurance operations, gaining exposure to premium reporting, reconciliations, collections, and remittance processes in a structured and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support premium reporting and reconciliation activities across multiple accounts.
  
• Review and process collections, bank statements, wire transfers, and premium uploads.
  
• Perform monthly reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  
• Maintain and troubleshoot macro-enabled Excel tools used for reporting.
  
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and bank relationship managers to resolve discrepancies.
  
• Monitor data quality and ensure adherence to internal processes and timelines.
  
• Identify and escalate errors or discrepancies and support timely resolution.
  

Key Requirements:

• Emirati with FamiIy Book – mandatory.
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a relevant discipline.
  
• 1–2 years of experience in operations, preferably within the insurance sector.
  
• Strong command of Advanced Excel, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, formulas, and large datasets.
  
• Experience in reconciliation, remittance, collections, or reporting is preferred.
  
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  
• Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
