ZVC Practice Manager:
• Providing business management services and overseeing operations in the Zoo
Veterinary Center.
• Manage the front desk, reception team, groomers, cleaners, accountants, pet’s hotel
care takers, the dog’s trainers and carry out their regular performance appraisals.
• Ensure positive work environment to allow the practice to achieve its goals
• Work on minimizing the cost and raising up the revenue.
• Maintains the practice philosophy for attracting new clients and retaining existing
ones.
• Resolves pet owner complains & financial problems if occurred and work on avoiding
it by continuous development of Policies, SOPs and work protocols.
• Ensure that the ZVC team provides quality care while generating adequate revenues
to remain profitable.
Client service and relation, including client communication, education, interaction,
patient and staff comfort.
• Initiates new programs and markets service through public relations campaigns
• Design strategies that guide the center to achieve its targets mission and vision
• Negotiates best prices and plan for periodic audits
• Keep communicating with the municipality and MOCCAE to be updated with any new
legislations and regulations.
• Manage the Human resources work including Hiring and training operation staff.
• Managing the hospital software and implementing safety and security procedures.
• Resolves staff issues and help in staff continuous education.
• Promotes internal marketing programs to increase client patient visitation rate
• Ensure that all the paperwork and software work are achieved smoothly
• Manage the Public relation, cooperate with the marketing & sales department by
providing strategies & guidance to achieve their target through effective advertising
and campaigns, ..etc
• Allowing the vets to focus solely on practicing medicine rather than the many details
of running a business
• Manage the front desk financial reporting, including accounts receivable, income
reconciliation, credit, accounts payable, inventory, budgeting, tax planning, tax return, and setting fees
• ensure that daily operations run smoothly in the clinic
• Develops schedule for The ZVC and vehicle maintenance
• Promotes client-cantered environment and facilitate programs and processes that
meet client needs
• Develops and updates the operation employee’s handbook, job descriptions &
employee personal files
• Oversee the daily operations of the Zoo Veterinary Center, ensuring that the facility is clean,
organized, and compliant with all health and safety regulations.
• Maintain Manage accurate records of the ZVC patients.
• Ensure the proper management and administration of veterinary supplies, including
medicines, equipment, and consumables.
• Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate coverages for all shifts, particularly in
emergency situations.
• Foster a collaborative and positive working environment for the team.
• Ensure the highest standards of animal welfare are maintained in accordance with local and
international guidelines.
• Manage the ordering of non-medical supplies and supervise its storage
• Manage the budget for the veterinary practice, including supplies, medications, equipment,
and staff resources.
Monitor and track expenses to ensure the practice stays within budget while maintaining
high standards of care.
• Manage inventory of veterinary supplies and equipment in an efficient and cost-effective
manner.
• Ensure compliance with all local regulations and health and safety standards for veterinary
practices.
• Maintain emergency procedures and ensure that the veterinary practice is equipped to
handle emergencies.
• Ensure that all documentation related to animal care and finance are up-to-date and in
compliance with legal requirements.
• Provide regular reports on animal health trends, veterinary treatments, and the overall
performance of the veterinary practice to senior management.
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to animal
care and medical treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
