Position: PRODUCT ENGINEER-AUTOMOTIVE DESIGN

Location: DUBAI

Experience:5-7years in product engineering

We are in search for as suitable team lead who is in to automotive parts development.Experienced into vehicle parts development for both aesthetic & utilityproductswill beanideal candidate.

Responsibilities:

1.      Coordinate with Product Development team to finalize product ideas.

2.      Check product installation feasibility and prepare design of the product accordingly.

3.      Convert Images or Sketches or Drawings to 3D model.

4.      Create 3D model based on the scan data (Meshfile /STLFile).

5.      Convert 3D simulation to Actual Engineered Product including A surface & B surface creation.

6.      Create detailed 2D Drawings as per Automotive industry standards and customer requirements.

7.      Define Product Material of each kit components.

8.      Prepare Installation Manual of the products.

9.      Justify the design performance with the help of CAD tools.For e.g.FEA Analysis

Skills:

1.      Understanding of Automotive Interior  and Exterior Parts Engineering and installation.

(example– Bumpers,interior trim panels,lighting etc.)

2.    Understanding of Automotive Standards and Regulations for designing genuine vehicle components

3.      Able to do Reverse Engineering from Scan data or physical part.(MeshtoCAD/STLto STP or IGES).

4.      Knowledge of materials (Plastics and Metal) and its manufacturing processes.

5.      Able tnlopredict expected failures in production or onfield and manage to make changes during design phase.

Qualification:Diploma/BE -Automotive/Mechanical

MUST–

1.    Proficientin3DCADSoftwaresEx-AutoCAD/SOLIDWORKS/RHINO/NX

/CATIA.

2.    ProductDFMEA
