QAQC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and monitor the project-specific QA/QC plan and procedures
  




• Ensure all work complies with internal quality standards, project specifications, and relevant codes
  




• Conduct internal audits and inspections to verify adherence to QA/QC protocols
  




• Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective/preventive actions are taken
  

Quality Control:

• Inspect incoming materials and verify compliance with approved material submittals
  




• Review and approve method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality-related documents
  




• Supervise and conduct inspections at various stages: fabrication, installation, and finishing
  




• Coordinate third-party inspections and testing as required
  

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, test results, non-conformances, and quality reports
  




• Prepare and submit daily/weekly QA/QC reports to the Project Manager
  




• Ensure that all relevant QA/QC documents are updated and maintained in compliance with ISO standards
  

Coordination & Support:

• Coordinate with the project team, site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants regarding quality issues
  




• Support the site team in resolving technical issues related to materials, methods, and quality
  




• Attend quality meetings and participate in site progress reviews
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  




• 3–5 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer, preferably in the aluminium, glass, or façade industry
  




• In-depth knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ISO standards, and construction industry codes
  




• Familiarity with façade systems such as curtain walls, cladding, structural glazing, ACP, etc.
  




• Proficient in MS Office and quality reporting tools
  




• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  




• Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving approach
  




• Knowledge of fabrication and installation processes is a strong advantage
