Job Description - Senior Electrical Engineer

Black & Grey HR is collaborating with a reputed Tier 1 contracting organization in the UAE to hire a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer for major high-rise construction projects. The selected candidate will play a key role in overseeing electrical engineering activities, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring successful project execution from design stage through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise electrical engineering activities across high-rise construction projects.

- Examine electrical layouts, technical drawings, and engineering documents to ensure alignment with project standards and regulations.

- Coordinate closely with consultants, architects, MEP teams, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure seamless workflow and execution.

- Manage site execution for electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, ELV, and associated services.

- Support construction teams by addressing technical concerns and resolving engineering challenges on-site.

- Review shop drawings, technical submissions, material approvals, and method statements related to electrical works.

- Ensure all installations comply with local authority regulations, project specifications, and safety requirements.

- Work alongside planning and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.

- Track construction progress and provide technical guidance to ensure activities are completed within scheduled timelines.

- Maintain proper records of inspections, approvals, reports, and project-related documentation.

- Participate in coordination meetings and assist in multidisciplinary design integration including BIM coordination where required.

Requirements

- Bachelorâs Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent engineering qualification is mandatory.

- Candidates must have 8â15 years of experience working with reputed contracting companies.

- Prior experience handling high-rise building projects is mandatory.

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, site execution, and MEP coordination is required.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for this role.

- Experience working with BIM/Revit coordination will be considered an added advantage.

- Candidates should possess strong technical coordination and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders are required.
