Senior Specialist / Consultant - Infectious Disease - Government Facility

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, manage, and treat patients with complex acute and chronic infectious diseases.
• Provide expert consultation on bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections.
• Manage complex infections, including HIV, tuberculosis, sepsis, and opportunistic infections, within the scope of professional expertise.
• Support antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention and control initiatives.
• Collaborate with intensive care, internal medicine, microbiology, and other clinical teams.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans and monitor patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with patient safety and healthcare quality standards.

• Recognized postgraduate qualifications in Infectious Disease or a relevant specialty, appropriate to the applied professional title.
• Valid medical license or professional registration in the country of practice, as applicable.
• Relevant specialist or consultant-level clinical experience.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and high standards of patient care.
• Ability to meet the applicable UAE healthcare licensing requirements.
