Service Engineer – General Machinery

Black & Grey HR is recruiting a Service Engineer – General Machinery for a reputed client in the industrial machinery sector. The role focuses on the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of general industrial machines. It combines technical field service responsibilities with customer interaction and promotion of Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).

- Install and commission industrial machinery at customer sites, ensuring setup and performance standards are met.

- Provide operational training to machine operators and maintenance staff.

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable machine operation.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues.

- Replace faulty components and make adjustments to restore machine functionality.

- Deliver remote and on-site technical support to clients.

- Resolve service requests promptly and professionally.

- Build strong customer relationships and deliver high levels of service.

- Identify service opportunities and promote AMCs during client interactions.

- Generate and follow up on AMC leads and renewals.

- Stay current on machine upgrades and new technologies.

- Attend training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills.

Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

- 2–5 years of experience in servicing general industrial machinery.

- Proficiency in mechanical systems maintenance and fault diagnostics.

- Basic understanding of electrical and control systems is a plus.

- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.

- Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
