Position Overview A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking a Western-qualified Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join its specialist Radiology team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities Perform a comprehensive range of image-guided interventional radiology procedures within approved clinical privileges.
Assess patients, review imaging and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Provide pre-procedure counselling, informed consent and post-procedure follow-up.
Manage procedural complications and complex clinical cases appropriately.
Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists and other specialists in multidisciplinary care.
Maintain accurate clinical and procedural documentation.
Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, audit and CME/CPD activities.
Support the development and expansion of the Interventional Radiology service.
Requirements
Medical degree (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
Recognised Western specialist qualification in Radiology/Interventional Radiology.
Relevant Consultant-level experience in a reputable hospital or tertiary-care centre.
Strong expertise in image-guided interventional procedures.
Current professional registration/licence in the country of practice.
Eligibility for UAE Consultant licensing/classification (DHA/DOH/MOHAP, as applicable).
Excellent communication, clinical judgement and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
