Job Description - Workshop Supervisor â Heavy Vehicle or Equipment

Oversee daily workshop operations and supervise technicians.

Plan and allocate work based on technician skills, workload, and job priority.

Monitor repair progress to ensure timely completion with quality and safety standards.

Provide technical support during diagnostics and repair activities.

Coordinate spare parts requirements and additional repair approvals.

Ensure efficient use of workshop tools, equipment, and consumables.

Monitor technician performance and support productivity improvement through KPIs.

Coordinate with Service Managers on technical issues and warranty requirements.

Support vehicle/equipment inspections, PDI activities, and delivery processes.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workshop in compliance with QHSEMS and company standards.

Requirements

B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering

7â8 years of experience in heavy commercial vehicles/heavy equipment workshop operations

Experience as a Workshop Supervisor, Foreman, Team Lead, or similar role

Strong technical knowledge of vehicle/equipment diagnostics and repairs

Experience managing and guiding a team of technicians

Authorized Dealership experience is mandatory

Ability to use business communication tools and ERP software

Benefits

Salary:

Heavy Vehicle: AED 8,000/month

Heavy Equipment: AED 9,000/month
