Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join our installation team. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Solar PV and Battery Storage installations, electrical testing, commissioning, fault finding and maintenance works across a variety of projects. You will be required to report to our Colchester yard each morning to collect equipment and materials before travelling to site. Requirements Minimum 1 years' experience working within the Solar PV industry NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation18th Edition Wiring Regulations ECS Gold Card (preferred but not essential) AM2 qualification (or working towards) Full UK Driving Licence Strong understanding of Solar PV systems and associated electrical works Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship Solar PV Installation qualification (preferred but not essential) Battery Storage installation experience (preferred but not essential) Testing & Inspection qualifications (2391 or equivalent)(preferred but not essential) Experience with major inverter and battery manufacturers such as Fox ESS, Sigenergy, Tesla and SolarEdge is an advantag What We Offer Salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum basic + overtime depending on experience Company van Fuel card Company pension scheme 28 days holiday including bank holidays Company uniform and PPE Ongoing training and development opportunities Opportunity to join a growing business with long-term career prospects Location Requirement Applicants must live close to Colchester, as daily attendance at our Colchester yard is required.
