Accounting Manager

Overview

We are seeking a skilled accounting professional to take on a pivotal role within our finance team. This position will oversee various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance while contributing to the overall financial strategy of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management.
• Supervise the accounting team and provide training and support.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
• Experience with financial modelling and analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
