Accounting Manager

e're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our day-to-day accounting operations and lead a team responsible for accurate, timely financial reporting. You'll play a key role in maintaining strong financial controls, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and partnering with senior leadership on financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
• Manage the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements
• Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior management
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process
• Monitor cash flow, reconcile accounts, and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement
• Support process improvements and implement best practices in financial systems and controls
• Assist with budgeting and financial planning in collaboration with department heads

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team and work cross-functionally
• High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
