An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join the Cloud and Engineering Product Team and the Logging, Monitoring and Alerting (LMA) Product Team on a Temporary Promotion/Temporary Level Transfer basis. This role provides dedicated Business Analysis support across two critical product areas that underpin core infrastructure and service resilience capabilities across the organisation. Working with stakeholders, users and multidisciplinary teams, you will analyse business problems and opportunities, identify and define business and user needs, support backlog prioritisation, and contribute to the delivery of key cloud, engineering, monitoring and security initiatives. You will play a vital role in ensuring that products and services meet organisational objectives, deliver value to users, and support the effective delivery of both ongoing business-as-usual activities and strategic improvements.
A Business Analyst leads small to medium size projects and supports larger and more complex projects.
At this role level, you will:

- develop the business analysis community by sharing best practice and mentoring others

Experience:
1. Experience of business and technical analysis in an Agile/digital project environment to support the delivery of organisational visions and goals.
2. Experience of using business and technical analysis tools and techniques to solve problems in small to medium Digital initiatives.
3. Experience of applying stakeholder management techniques that influence others to make key decisions within product or delivery teams.
4. Experience of working with other Digital professions to design and develop technical solutions to resolve business problems.

Duration of Temporary Opportunity

Hybrid Working
Our standard hours are 35 hours per week, and we offer a range of flexible working options, depending on the needs of the role. We embrace a hybrid working style where all colleagues will spend time in either our Glasgow or Dundee offices. There is an expectation of a minimum 2 days per week in your assigned location.
