Rotating Shift Pattern
Week 1 Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm and Friday 6am to 1pm
Week 2 Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10.30pm and Friday 1pm to 6pm
MacArthur Recruitment is seeking a team of Baler Operators to join a successful manufacturing business based in North-West Cumbria who are growing. You will need to hold your FLT / Fork lift truck licence.
The baler operator is responsible for running a baler machine that compresses and binds metal products. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated reliable individual that is able to work at a steady pace to meet the schedule of production.
Person Specification for the role of:
- Previous experience operating a baler is preferred
- Forklift experience is required
- FLT / Fork lift truck licence - mandatory
- Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the job.
- Safely lift and/or manoeuvre materials
- Prolonged standing and lifting
- Ability to work within a fast-paced, repetitive work environment
Principal Accountabilities for the role of Baler Operator :
- Run baler machines to compress metal materials
- Maintain the work area, keep equipment in a clean and orderly condition, and follow prescribed safety guidelines.
- Recycling and picking up production waste at designated locations.
