Care Assistant

Home Instead Mid Cornwall provide the highest quality, relationship led care for older people in their own homes in St Austell. We support clients with their social and emotional needs rather than just focussing on tasks, helping them enjoy their lives in their own homes where they wish to be. 

All our visits are at least an hour. We always introduce caregivers to new clients and invest heavily in training and development. Our office team provide excellent support for the caregivers allowing them to provide the very best care they can. We pay travel and waiting time and mileage at 45p a mile. Holiday pay is one hour for every 8 worked and we have a Nest pension scheme.

• Physical stamina to assist with mobility and daily living activities

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to clients' individual needs
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
