The business is open to candidates across a range of experience levels, from Newly Qualified Surveyors through to Associate level. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of refurbishment projects, primarily across the industrial and logistics sector, while also gaining exposure to a wider range of commercial assets including offices and retail. You will be joining a highly respected consultancy with an excellent reputation for delivering first-class technical advice to a broad client base. The role provides genuine autonomy, regular client interaction, and the opportunity to take ownership of projects from initial instruction through to completion. The Role As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will take responsibility for delivering refurbishment projects ranging from £250k to £10m+, working with a diverse range of investors, occupiers and developers. Alongside project delivery, you will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of professional surveying instructions, including: Technical due diligence Pre acquisition surveys Dilapidations Party wall matters Project monitoring This varied workload will allow you to continue developing a well rounded skillset while gaining exposure to a wide range of commercial property projects. Key Responsibilities Lead refurbishment projects from initial instruction through to successful completion. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest professional standards. Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing high-quality advice and building long-term relationships. Prepare specifications, manage project budgets, oversee invoicing, and monitor overall project performance. Support and mentor junior surveyors and graduates. Contribute to business development activities by strengthening existing relationships, identifying new opportunities, and promoting wider service offerings. Play an active role in the continued growth and development of the Building Surveying team. About You You will be a commercially focused Chartered Building Surveyor who enjoys taking ownership of projects and building strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have: MRICS qualification. Experience delivering commercial refurbishment projects up to £10m+ in value. Experience within the industrial and logistics sector, although wider commercial property experience will also be considered. The confidence to manage projects independently from instruction through to completion. Excellent communication, report writing and stakeholder management skills. A proactive and collaborative approach with a strong focus on delivering exceptional client service.
