Class 1 Driver - Days

Mainstream Fleet Services are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Class 1 Driver - Days to join their agency for an ongoing role based near Sittingbourne.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established agency with a great history who are looking for long term coverage with their client in the recycling industry.

The role entails (but is not limited to):

General haulage of recycled waste and recycled paper.

Delivering to hubs in various locations.

Shifts will be an average of 12 hours long.

Full time or part time hours available.

This role is mostly driving but will involve some strapping and operation of the curtain.

A successful candidate will have:

Full Class 1 licence with a minimum of 1 years' recent experience.

Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card.

No more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsement codes.

A great knowledge of rules and regulations within HGV driving.

Good roadcraft and geographical knowledge.

The hourly rate for this position is:

Monday to Friday: £16.42

Saturdays: £24.63

Sundays and Bank Holidays: £32.84

This will be paid on a weekly basis. Holiday allowance is accrued on top of this rate. This position is ongoing and can be flexible
