Design Technician

Design Technician - London 

Role Overview:

As a Design Technician within our Pre-Con Design team, you'll play a crucial role in translating client and architect requirements into detailed designs. Your responsibilities will include attending design workshops, producing accurate stage 3 information, creating drawings for tenders, and supporting the Estimating team with your technical expertise. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with the Product Development team to innovate new solutions and manage mock-ups and samples throughout the business.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D for drafting and design tasks.
  


• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite for documentation and communication.
  


• Previous experience in the commercial fit-out industry.
  

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of Revit/BIM for 3D modelling and collaboration.
  


• Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate design concepts.
  


• Experience in creating NBS Specifications.
  


• Familiarity with Structural Glazing/Facades projects.
