Who we are
We’re The Kite Factory; the independent media agency built on Values and Velocity.
Our values set the direction. Velocity drives the momentum. Together, they shape how we think, how we work, and how we help ambitious brands grow in a world that rarely stands still.
Everything we do is built around one belief: the best media ideas are the ones that deliver measurable growth. That’s why we combine strategic thinking, creative ambition, and commercial accountability to create Ideas That Deliver - media solutions grounded in insight, executed with precision, and measured by real-world impact. From commercial challengers to leading purpose led organisations, we partner with brands including WaterAid, White Claw, British Red Cross, Lovehoney, MedExpress, Friends of the Earth and M&G Wealth.
Today, we have specialists across strategy, planning, activation, data, analytics, and creative thinking - united by curiosity, collaboration, and a shared ambition to deliver work that makes a measurable difference.
We’ve grown quickly because we’ve stayed true to what makes us different: independent thinking, deep client partnership, and a culture that empowers people to move with clarity, confidence, creativity, and momentum.
People love working here, and it shows. We’re proud to be recognised as a Campaign Best Place to Work and a Sunday Times Best Place to Work, creating a culture where individuality is valued, progress matters more than perfection, and talented people are trusted to do their best work.
What we are looking for
We’re looking for candidates that want to push the boundaries with clients whilst still being able to deliver excellent results. You should have solid experience in both planning and buying across multiple channels, and you should also be able to strike the balance between analytical and creative thinking to aid long-term growth strategies for your clients.
Collaboration between teams and with clients is also key to success here. You should have client-management experience and be confident owning all day-to-day relationships with key stakeholders with proven long-term success here, and you should be able to effectively communicate with internal teams to maintain a high standard work at all times; whilst delivering multiple projects.
We expect individuals within this role to take initiative and drive things forward for both their team and clients, reporting upwards to their managers with efficiency.
Your role
This is a varied, cross-channel role working across Paid Search, Paid Social, Retailer, and all Programmatic channels (Display, Video, CTV, Audio etc.) for a handful of commercial clients. We require the candidate to have solid experience predominantly in Paid Search and Paid Social, and ongoing support will be provided for any other channels you do not have extensive experience in.
This role is very hands on with campaigns, from being the strategical planning lead to overseeing and managing campaign builds, optimisation and overall development. This will be across all three channels and you will be expected to operate your team fairly independently. You will work closely with a Planning team who will plan and buy the offline media, so you will need to ensure that you are approaching client briefs with integrated planning in mind.
You will be line managing a Senior Digital Account Executive within your team, who will support you in delivering the above. You will be responsible for their training and development, output and quality of work, and oversee the areas they take full ownership of, including key deliverables such as reporting and monthly finance.
This role is client-facing, meaning you will need to work on building and maintaining rapport with all clients, confidence and trust, which will be assessed through ongoing internal and external feedback.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
Lead planning and execution across all digital channels, managing campaigns from strategical planning to optimisation and in-depth post-analysis with complete independence (managing upwards to your manager for support).
Manage multiple projects and priorities, delegating effectively, maintaining team workload balance and quality output.
Oversee all account media plans and produce the bulk of client deck content (monthlies, quarterlies, RTBs/PCAs).
Implement and troubleshoot more complex tagging/tracking across platforms and integrate reporting with clients owned systems where required.
Maintain all team operational processes and ensure diligence here with no errors.
Coordinate with offline teams for holistic planning and ensure campaigns integrate across channels.
Manage weekly business level forecasting for all accounts whilst ensuring all other financial processes for your accounts are managed correctly.
Identifying growth opportunities for your accounts that contribute to driving incremental agency revenue.
Educate clients on industry developments such as AI, cookieless strategies, reporting source benefits/drawbacks, and emerging partners/platform opportunities, etc.
Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact, building rapport and confidence.
Maintain relationships with key media partner owners and ensure we stay at the forefront of testing opportunities and incentives.
Line manage a Senior Digital Account Executive – including setting their performance growth objectives, observing and feeding back and having weekly 121s.
Finally, there are also opportunities to become a department champion in an area of expertise that you would like to bring to the agency. This would include knowledge sharing sessions and organising lunch and learns with key partners.
We require someone who has the passion, drive and tenacity to make a difference.
