Role Overview

A skilled and reliable Drainage Engineer is sought to support the maintenance, installation, and repair of drainage systems. The position involves hands -on technical work, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role requires a proactive team player capable of managing both independent and collaborative tasks within a close -knit operational team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair drainage components using appropriate tools and equipment.
  
• Conduct CCTV inspections to identify and diagnose issues within drainage systems.
  
• Unblock drains using high -pressure water jetting equipment.
  
• Evaluate existing drainage conditions to recommend improvements or required upgrades.
  
• Work with colleagues, contractors, and engineers to ensure seamless project delivery.
  
• Complete job cards with accurate details regarding labour, materials, and time spent.
  
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any issues promptly.
  
• Participate in a rotating on -call schedule (1 in 3 weeks).
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in drainage operations or a related field (minimum 1 year preferred).
  
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  
• Sound plumbing knowledge is an advantage.
  
• Strong problem -solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
  
• CSCS card (preferred).
  
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
  

Additional Details

• 40 -hour work week required.
  
• Work is primarily site -based.
  
• Candidates must be able to commute reliably or plan to relocate to the Lincoln area.
