Driver 3.5T/Yard Assistant Hybrid role

About the Role

Join our Wednesbury team as a Driver/Yard Operative, where you'll be the face of JDP, delivering products to customers and helping keep our busy yard running smoothly. It's a varied, hands-on role that combines driving, customer service, and teamwork.

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely deliver products to customers using a 3.5T vehicle.
• Provide friendly, reliable service and ensure deliveries arrive on time.
• Load and unload vehicles and prepare customer orders.
• Maintain a safe, tidy, and organised yard.
• Support stock control and day-to-day yard operations.
• Work closely with the team to keep everything running efficiently.

What We're Looking For

• Full UK driving licence
• Good understanding of health & safety in the workplace
• Knowledge of driver regulations, driving hours, and delivery procedures
• Ability to plan efficient delivery routes
• A proactive, hardworking attitude with a willingness to learn
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• FLT (Forklift Truck) experience is desirable but not essential
