Electrical Technician

Panel Wirer

Start Date: Monday 5th October
Duration: 3 months initially, with the possibility of extension
Location: Hove
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:45am to 4:30pm, Friday finish at 12:15pm
Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours

Responsible For

Working alongside Technicians, Testers and Engineers to ensure high and accurate standard of build and installation.

Key Responsibilities, Main Tasks and Activities
Interpretation of schematic and general arrangement drawings.
Layout of panels.
Panel assembly including, preparation of metalwork prior to assembly, cabling and small wiring.
Copper busbar fitting.
Panel installation on site.
Liaising with engineers.

Skills and AbilitiesEssential

Electrical and mechanical knowledge.
Proven experience in a similar role.
Ability to interpret schematic and general arrangement drawings.
