We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing electrical contractor based in the Kent area.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, we are looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Electrician to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term role with a reputable contractor carrying out a mixture of commercial electrical installation and maintenance works across Central London and Kent.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

✅ Be a fully qualified Electrician

✅ Hold the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification

✅ Hold the 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification

✅ Have experience carrying out electrical installation and maintenance works within commercial buildings

✅ Hold a Full UK Driving Licence

✅ Live within a commutable distance of kent

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical installation, planned maintenance and reactive maintenance works within commercial buildings across London and Kent.

Typical sites may include:

Office buildings
Commercial premises
Retail units
Schools and educational facilities
Healthcare environments
Industrial and mixed-use properties

Key Responsibilities

Commercial electrical installations.
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
Reactive electrical maintenance and repairs.
Inspection and testing of electrical systems.
Fault finding and diagnostics.
Emergency lighting testing and maintenance.
Distribution board and consumer unit works.
Completing electrical certification and compliance documentation.
Ensuring all works comply with current regulations and Health & Safety standards.
Representing the business professionally whilst on client sites.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday.
Full-time permanent role.
Standard day shifts.
Occasional evening and weekend work as required.
Overtime paid for all approved out-of-hours and weekend works.
