We are seeking a skilled and motivated Photocopier Field Service Engineer to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Position Summary:

As a Photocopier Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing installation, maintenance, and repair services for our clients' office equipment, specifically photocopiers. You will be required to travel to different locations to install new equipment, troubleshoot and fix any technical issues, and provide regular maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of the machines. Your role will also involve training our clients on how to properly use the equipment and assisting them with any inquiries they may have.

This will mainly be based around the M3 & M4 corridors and may be required further a field at times.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and set up new photocopiers for our clients according to manufacturer's specifications

- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with photocopiers

- Repair or replace faulty components and perform routine maintenance on photocopiers

- Provide training to clients on how to properly use and maintain the equipment

- Respond to service requests in a timely manner and prioritise tasks accordingly

- Keep detailed records of client visits, repairs, and maintenance tasks

- Identify and recommend improvements to enhance the overall performance of the equipment

- Communicate and collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support during demonstrations and installations

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and advancements in the industry to provide the best service to our clients

Good computer and networking knowledge as some help desk work may be involved

Qualifications:

- Trained on Ricoh equipment, Canon equipment is also preferred

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of office equipment, specifically photocopiers

- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of photocopiers and their components

- Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Willingness to travel to different locations

- Must possess a valid UK driver's license

- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment when necessary

- May be required to offer helpdesk support at times
