They’re looking for a skilled, motivated, and forward-thinking Field Service Engineer to join the team and be part of their journey. They are looking for a hands-on Field Service Engineer to carry out servicing, thorough examinations, repairs and breakdown support across our customer base. This is a varied and mobile role where no two days are the same. You’ll be working on a wide range of equipment, diagnosing problems, performing repairs and representing Welfaux in a professional, customer-focused way, all with the support of an expert service team allowing you to focus purely on your engineering capabilities. Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to ensure equipment reliability and safety. Respond to breakdowns and keep customer downtime to a minimum Build strong relationships with customers through reliable, professional service What We’re Looking For: Strong experience in field based mechanical and/or electrical engineering role, ideally within forklifts. Thorough Examination (LOLER & PUWER) Certification highly desirable. A self-motivated engineer with strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills. A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail. Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) are beneficial but experience and attitude matter most.
