This is mainly service and remedial work role , with a strong focus on planned preventive maintenance (PPM) -no long-distance travel and no overnight stays . What you'll be doing Carrying out service, remedial and PPM visits across fire and security systems Working on systems including intruder alarms, fire alarms, access control and CCTV (IP & analogue) Ensuring works meet relevant British Standards and NSI requirements Accurately completing job paperwork / updates via CRM/PDA Taking part in an on-call rota (1 in 8) What we're looking for Time served engineer and/or IPAF ECS (or CSCS) card FIA qualified (preferred not essential) Ideally multi-disciplined across Fire & Security Good IT/admin ability (MS Office / job systems) and strong customer service Full UK driving licence Pay, on-call & benefits Basic: £38k-£42k On-call: 1 in 8 , with max average 1 call-out per week On-call payment: £185 per week when on-call Paid door-to-door (travel time paid) Overtime: time and a half after hours Company van provided 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays, if applicable) Power tools provided Apply In Short Industry Founded Location Company size HR GO Recruitment Our story From humble beginnings and our first office in Dartford, HR GO Recruitment is now a key part of a multi-million pound operation, HR GO plc. Betty quit her job in Tooley Street and found a temporary job in Dartford Paper Mills where she got involved in recruiting additional workers. Family business This early success fueled Betty’s ambition as an entrepreneur and she founded Parkinson Staff Bureau, later known as PSB Recruitment. In that first year, Betty cancelled a family holiday to ensure she had enough money to pay her temps on time. Success soon followed. Betty’s son Jack joined the business in 1977 and dedicated himself to growing the enterprise to the major plc it is today. Jack’s son John is the latest member of the family to join the business.
