Fire Risk Assessment Trainer
Salary: £38,000 to £45,000
Location: Home based with UK -wide travel and occasional overnight stays
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire Risk Assessment professional to step into a training role. You will be responsible for delivering Fire Risk Assessment qualifications and CPD courses, ensuring high standards of consistency, compliance, and learner support. This role combines technical expertise with a passion for education and learner development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Fire Risk Assessment training and qualifications across the UK
- Design, update, and adapt course content in line with current standards and legislation
- Provide assessment of learner work fairly and accurately within set timeframes
- Offer clear and constructive feedback to support learner achievement
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress in accordance with IQA requirements
- Liaise with clients to ensure training content meets their needs and expectations
- Keep knowledge current through CPD and awareness of industry developments
Essential Requirements
- Qualification in Fire Risk Assessment or equivalent experience
- Experience conducting Fire Risk Assessments at intermediate or advanced level
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to varied audiences
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Desirable
- Experience delivering accredited training or CPD courses
- Level 3 Assessor qualification or equivalent
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training or similar teaching qualification
- Third -party accreditation in Fire Risk Assessment or willingness to achieve this
