Forklift Driver - Temp to Perm

Location: Norwich
Pay: £14 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 6:00pm, with an early finish on Fridays
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Are you an experienced Forklift Driver / Production Operative with Counterbalance Forklift experience looking for a long-term opportunity? Our client, a busy manufacturing business in Norwich, is looking for a reliable and flexible individual to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.

As a Production Operative, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day manufacturing operation. You will need to be hands-on, adaptable and confident working in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Operating a Counterbalance Forklift alongside production duties
Supporting different areas of the manufacturing operation as required
Working safely and efficiently to meet production requirements
Responding quickly and effectively to operational issues
Maintaining high standards of quality and productivity
Adapting to changing priorities and responding positively to challenges
Working as part of a team while also being able to use your own initiative
About You

Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience
Experience within production, manufacturing or a similar environment
A flexible and multi-skilled approach to work
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
A proactive, action-oriented attitude
The ability to identify problems and deal with them promptly
