The Company A successful, well established, family run business supplying, fitting, repairing and servicing automated gates, barriers, bollards, entry systems, intercoms and GSM units. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly company that offers job security with no call out or weekend work. The Gate Automation Engineer Role A field based role working from home, repairing and servicing automated entry systems primarily at domestic premises within a one hour radius of Royston. Some commercial and school work is also involved. You will carry out fault finding and repairs on automated gates. Work is issued through a mobile app and you will only need to visit the company site for spare parts once or twice a week. There can occasionally be some groundworks when fitting new posts, ground loops and similar. Field based role working from home Repairing and servicing automated gates and entry systems 60% domestic premises, 40% commercial premises Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week The Gate Automation Engineer Candidate Service background Must have experience repairing and fault finding automated gates, barriers, intercoms and GSM units Experience with retrofits of replacement motors and parts Looking for a full time permanent role offering excellent work life balance Knowledge of gate safety (DHF qualification preferred) Interested in the Gate Automation Engineer role ?
