Job Description - HGV Driver

HGV Driver : Aspatria, Cumbria

Start asap

Salary : circa Â£36,500 pa (Â£12.70ph @57.5 hours/wk) + bonuses and allowances on top cÂ£2-Â£3k pa

Hours : 57. /5 day wk guaranteed (more possible)

23 days holiday + BH

Overnights 1-4 /wk

MacArthur Recruitment is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to deliver our customerâs finished goods across the UK.

Main duties and responsibilities for the role of HGV Driver, Class 1 :

To drive class 1 vehicles transporting products, across the UK (with a couple of nights tramping a week)

To complete all paperwork comprehensively and on time to comply with regulations

To manage time effectively to ensure jobs are completed within the allocated timeframe

To maintain a safe vehicle through comprehensive reporting of defects and issues in the correct manner to the right departments

Adhering to all traffic regulations, industry standards and road safety.

Qualifications and experience for the role of HGV Driver :

Class 1 (C + E) licence

Experience of driving in the UK

Full CPC and digi-tacho card

Good understanding of driverâs hours and working time

Ability to complete paperwork
