J&T Recruitment has been exclusively retained by a fast -growing digital product company in Edinburgh to hire a Lead Mobile Engineer to lead development of their next -generation mobile applications used by millions of customers.

Salary

? £100,000 – £145,000 base + bonus + equity

Responsibilities

• Lead development of high -performance mobile applications
  

• Work across both iOS and Android platforms
  

• Define mobile architecture and best practices
  

• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams
  

• Mentor and guide mobile engineering team members
  

Requirements

• 6+ years mobile development experience
  

• Strong experience with Swift or Kotlin
  

• Experience delivering large -scale mobile applications
  

• Knowledge of modern mobile architecture patterns
  

• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities

Interview Process (3 Stages)

1. Recruiter Screening – 30 minutes
   
   Introduction through J&T Recruitment discussing mobile development experience.
   

2. Mobile Engineering Interview – 75 minutes
   
   Discussion around iOS/Android architecture, performance optimization, and mobile frameworks.
   

3. Final Product & Engineering Interview – 60 minutes
   
   Collaboration discussion with product and engineering leadership.
