Responsibilities - Maintenance Engineer
Provide breakdown support across injection moulding machines, automation systems, and ancillary equipment. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities to maximise equipment reliability and performance. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in a safe and efficient manner. Support continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing processes and equipment effectiveness. Work closely with production, engineering, and external suppliers to deliver operational objectives. Contribute to initiatives focused on improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with health and safety standards and company procedures. Assist with training and mentoring colleagues to develop engineering capability across the team. Support fellow engineers and departments as required. Promote and maintain a positive safety culture throughout the site. Experience / Qualifications - Maintenance Engineer
Time-served engineer with an electrical or mechanical bias (multi-skilled experience highly desirable). Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment. Injection moulding experience would be highly advantageous. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across automated production equipment. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to improving equipment performance and reliability. Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate across multiple departments. Good understanding of health and safety requirements within an industrial environment. Benefits - Maintenance Engineer
