We are looking for a qualified electrical maintenance engineer to join our maintenance team and keep some of the most advanced sheet metal plant in the UK running. The HR Booth are delighted to be recruiting a Maintenance Engineer on behalf of our client. About Based in Fife, the factory is one of the UK’s most advanced manufacturers of precision sheet metalwork, electromechanical assemblies and precision machined components. We supply medical, scientific instrumentation, energy, telecoms, automotive and more and hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001. Our engineering sub contract facility runs with substantial CNC machine tools, including Trumpf CNC fibre laser profiling, SAFAN E-brake press brakes, Manual welding, Gema powder coating, wet spray and Mechanical assembly. It is a genuinely varied estate — you will not be maintaining the same three machines for the next ten years. The role You will be responsible for keeping plant and equipment available and running safely. It is a hands-on role split between planned maintenance and reactive breakdown response, with real scope to shape how we do things.
