Marine Engineer

Job Type: Full -Time, in person

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Marine Engineer to join a well -established marine services company based in Yarmouth. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and repair skills and be confident working independently on a wide range of leisure craft.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, servicing, and fault -finding on propulsion systems, engines, and general boat equipment.
  
• Work on leisure vessels typically ranging from 20ft to 60ft.
  
• Diagnose and repair inboard engine systems to a high standard.
  
• Deliver excellent service and maintain professional communication with customers.
  

Requirements

• Proven hands -on experience within the leisure marine engineering sector (essential).
  
• Strong knowledge of inboard engine systems.
  
• Experience with Volvo Penta and/or Yanmar engines (highly desirable).
  
• Ability to diagnose, service, and repair mechanical systems confidently and efficiently.
  
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  

Experience with outboard engines is beneficial but not required.
