Marine Engineer

• Ensure that your teams and you comply with all Health and
  Safety regulations and safe working practice as required by
  current legislation and the Company’s Health and Safety Policy
  and practices.
  
• Supervise and coordinate all engineers on shift to ensure
  the most effective and efficient service 
  
• Drive technical development of the vessels and facilities to
  ensure the most effective and efficient operation
  
• Oversee the day to day maintenance and servicing of all
  vessels and mechanical systems
  
• To ensure that all Thames Clippers vessels mechanical
  systems are fully safety checked in line with the company
  policy and statutory legislation DDDD
  
• Ensure all Thames Clippers craft are kept in service and
  fully operational wherever possible, by ensuring effective and
  efficient maintenance is carried out at all times by
  prioritising maintenance where possible during quieter periods.
  
• Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance on vessels as
  required including reasonable requests for additional support
  when needed.
  
• Work with the senior engineering team to define, implement
  and review technical improvements to the fleet and engineering
  facilities, providing full technical analysis and reporting as
  required and defined by Head of Engineering and Vessel Appearance 
  
• Undertake any other relevant duties or reasonable request as
  requested by the HOD and any member of the senior management team
