Job Description - Maths Teacher

Maths Teacher – Leeds
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Start Date: January 2026 or ASAP
Salary: Competitive, paid weekly via PAYE
Contract Type: Full-Time – Temporary with potential to become permanent

Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths teacher looking for your next opportunity? Protocol Education is working in partnership with a successful secondary school in Leeds, and we're seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Plan, prepare, and assess student work to drive progress and achievement

Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners

Collaborate with the wider department to develop resources and strategies

Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

Who We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics

Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Commitment to student success and continuous professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
