Private Client Solicitor

Location: Leeds (outside of CC)

Salary: £45,000 to £65,000 (depending on experience)

Experience: 3+ years’ PQE

Our client is a well-established firm with a growing Private Client department. They’re looking for a full-time solicitor to take ownership of a varied caseload and play an important role in the continued development of the team.

You’ll join a supportive environment where the focus is on delivering an excellent service, building long-term client relationships, and using modern systems to make day-to-day work smoother. The firm has a strong local presence, a modern approach to remote working, and a clear growth plan.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing a varied private client caseload from instruction through to completion

• Drafting wills and advising on estate planning

• Advising on trusts and related documentation

• Preparing and registering powers of attorney

• Handling probate matters, including estate administration

• Advising on deputyship matters

• Communicating clearly with clients and keeping them updated throughout their matter

• Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain service standards and support team development

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) in private client work

• Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, trusts and powers of attorney

• Confident, client-focused communication style and a calm, professional approach

• Proactive mindset with good organisation and attention to detail

• Commercial awareness and an interest in contributing to a growing department

• STEP or ALP membership is desirable but not essential

• Full-time: Monday to Friday, 08:45 to 17:30
