Full-time English Teacher role starting January 2027
Teach engaging English Language and Literature lessons across the secondary curriculum
Plan and deliver creative, challenging, and well-structured lessons
Develop students’ reading, writing, comprehension, and analytical skills
Support high standards of teaching, learning, and academic achievement
Work collaboratively with experienced English teachers and department colleagues
Contribute to a positive classroom environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential
PGCE in English or a related teaching qualification from a recognised UK university
UK recongnised Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related subject
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or working towards it where appropriate
Strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A genuine passion for English and inspiring young learners
High expectations of students and a commitment to their academic progress
Strong organisational, interpersonal, and planning skills
