An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Operations / Operations Director to join a growing Supported Living provider and take a leading role in the continued development of its services.
This is a senior operational position for an experienced care leader who can oversee service delivery, drive quality and performance, and support the organisation's wider growth strategy.
Based in the West Midlands / Midlands, the role will involve regular national travel across the organisation's services and would suit someone who is commercially aware, operationally strong, and confident leading teams across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership across Supported Living services
Oversee the performance, quality, and operational delivery of multiple services
Lead, support, and develop Registered Managers and operational teams
Ensure services consistently meet CQC and regulatory requirements
Drive continuous improvement across quality, compliance, and service performance
Monitor operational KPIs, staffing, budgets, and financial performance
Support the mobilisation and development of new Supported Living services
Develop and implement effective operational systems and processes
Build strong relationships with commissioners, Local Authorities, families, and other stakeholders
Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and support sustainable growth
Provide regular operational reporting and strategic insight to senior leadership
Help shape the organisation's long-term operational strategy
Requirements
Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role within Supported Living
Previous experience as an Operations Manager, Head of Operations, Operations Director, or similar
Strong understanding of CQC regulations, compliance, and quality standards
Experience overseeing multiple Supported Living services or locations
Strong leadership and people management skills
Commercially aware with experience managing operational and financial performance
Proven track record of driving service improvement and organisational growth
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strategic thinker with strong operational decision-making abilities
Comfortable with regular national travel
