The role will involve the preparation and application of coatings to a range of precision-engineered components, ensuring high-quality finishes in line with strict industry standards.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
Preparation of components for paint spraying and finishing, including cleaning, masking, and surface treatment Application of coatings using spray guns (wet spray / powder coating where applicable) Ensuring consistent coverage, thickness, and high-quality finish across all parts Setting up and maintaining spray equipment, including guns, booths, and filters Carrying out visual inspections and quality checks to identify defects or inconsistencies Supporting colour changes and ensuring minimal contamination between jobs Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency Reliable with good timekeeping and ability to meet production targets Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00 (flexible start and finish times available) Friday: 07:30 - 13:00 Salary
Up to £35,000, depending on experience Compliance & Requirements
Right to work in the UK (passport or share code with supporting documentation) Ability to provide 5 years' checkable work history (referencing required) Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
