Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is seeking a Pastry Commis Chef to join our Main Kitchen Pastry team.

The role

As a Pastry Commis Chef, you will support the day to day operation of the Pastry Kitchen, assisting with the preparation, production, and presentation of a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods across the hotel.

Working closely with the Pastry Chef de Partie and wider culinary team, you will develop your skills in a luxury hospitality environment while contributing to the high standards of quality and consistency associated with Four Seasons.

What you will do

• Assist with the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, bakery items, and plated desserts
• Support daily mise en place and service preparation
• Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, quality, and consistency
• Follow recipes and production schedules accurately
• Ensure compliance with all food hygiene, HACCP, and health and safety procedures
• Support stock rotation and minimise waste within the pastry kitchen
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen
• Work collaboratively with the wider culinary team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Continually develop your pastry knowledge and technical skills

What we are looking for

• Previous experience within a pastry kitchen or professional culinary environment is beneficial
• Passion for pastry, baking, and hospitality
• Basic understanding of Food Safety, HACCP, and COSHH procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good spoken English
• Professional and reliable approach to work
• Right to Work in the UK

What to expect

• Full time position based on a 40 hour working week
• Five shifts per week across a rotating schedule
• Flexibility required across mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Opportunity to develop within a luxury hotel pastry operation
