Personal Tax Assistant Manager - Hybrid, Peterborough

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
  
• Reviewing personal tax returns prepared by junior team members
  
• Providing tax planning and advisory support to private clients
  
• Advising on capital gains tax, inheritance tax and residency matters
  
• Assisting with trust tax and estate planning work
  
• Supporting directors and partners with complex advisory projects
  
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  
• Identifying tax planning opportunities for clients
  
• Mentoring and supporting junior members of the tax team
  
• Ensuring compliance deadlines are met and service levels remain high
  

Requirements

• ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualification, or be close to completion
  
• Experience within a UK accountancy practice or tax consultancy environment
  
• Strong knowledge of personal tax compliance
  
• Exposure to personal tax advisory work
  
• Experience reviewing tax returns would be advantageous
  
• Excellent communication and client facing skills
  
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
  
• A proactive and commercial approach to client service
