Production Engineer will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role allows for flexible working. The salary for this role is circa £40k, depending on experience. What you’ll be doing Lead the development, implementation and optimisation of manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient, repeatable and high-quality production methods for both new and existing products Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, supporting projects from concept through to production release and ensuring manufacturing readiness at key project milestones Champion Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFM/DFA) principles, collaborating with engineering teams to improve product manufacturability and production efficiency Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, manufacturing process plans, routings and configuration-controlled records Investigate production challenges, lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve quality, safety, delivery performance and operational excellence Act as a key interface between Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Project teams, providing technical expertise, managing manufacturing risks and supporting continuous improvement initiatives About our company At SEA, we develop and deliver advanced solutions to make our world safer, cleaner and more efficient.
