You will have experience working within manufacturing environments and a strong understanding of quality, health & safety and environmental standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. As a QHSE Manager, you will play a key part in maintaining and improving management systems, supporting suppliers, quality and ensuring high standards of health & safety and environmental compliance. Offering a salary of c£50k to work Monday - Friday days with an early finish every Friday! If you are interested in this role - APPLY NOW via the job board As a QHSE Manager your role will involve: Maintaining and developing the Quality and Environmental Management Systems in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements Developing and maintaining QHSE policies and procedures in line with relevant legislation and requirements Carrying out internal and supplier audits to ensure quality and compliance standards are met Coordinating management reviews and chairing quarterly Health & Safety meetings Managing audits from external certification bodies and other interested parties Producing and maintaining quality plans and work instructions to ensure suppliers meet required standards Working with suppliers across the UK and Europe to improve quality, delivery performance and costs Working closely with Engineering and Purchasing to ensure technical requirements are met and purchase orders are correctly specified Visiting suppliers to assess new suppliers, investigate non-conformances and agree corrective actions Coordinating planned and general maintenance of the office facility and acting as the main point of contact for the site landlord Supporting the ongoing improvement and effectiveness of QHSE management systems Suitable Candidate: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within a medium to large engineering company Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Health & Safety requirements NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum requirement) Qualified Internal Auditor (minimum requirement); Lead Auditor qualification desirable, although training can be provided Experience working with suppliers, conducting audits and managing non-conformances Good understanding of engineering processes, including casting, forging, machining, non-destructive testing, shot-peening and heat treatment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication Self-motivated, flexible and able to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team Familiarity with MRP systems for stock control and procurement If you are interested in the above role, APPLY NOW via the job board Apply Auxo Talent HR Services, Recruitment & Selection 38 Jobs The company is part of Company Profile In Short Industry HR & Recruitment, Engineering & Manufacture Founded 1967 Location Derby: Badger Farm, Willowpit Lane, Hilton, Derby, DE65 5FN Northampton: Suite 15, Grovelands Business Park, West Haddon Road, East Haddon, NN6 8FB Company size 11-50 About Us At Jenrick Engineering, we specialise in sourcing and placing top-tier Technical, Operations, Engineering and Projects staff for manufacturing clients across the UK.
