You will take full commercial responsibility for Mechanical and Electrical packages across a mix of residential and commercial projects, with the freedom to operate in a way that suits you. Whether you are seeking a permanent role, a temp to perm route, or ongoing freelance work, this position offers genuine flexibility alongside long-term project security. What’s in it for you £60,000 – £80,000 pa salary depending on experience or day rate equivalent Flexible engagement options – 12 week temp to perm or on going freelance Immediate start available (flexible for the right person) Strong pipeline of secured work Opportunity to take full ownership of Mechanical and Electrical commercial delivery Exposure to both residential new build and commercial fit out projects Stable working hours – Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm About the role As an M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of mechanical and electrical packages across a range of projects. This includes both domestic developments and commercial fit outs, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and in line with contractual requirements. What you will be doing Managing the commercial aspects of M&E (MEP) packages Overseeing subcontractor accounts and cost control Preparing and managing valuations, variations and change control Supporting procurement activities and commercial reporting Ensuring contractual compliance and accurate documentation Working closely with project teams to support successful delivery What we’re looking for Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor Strong understanding of M&E packages across residential and commercial projects Solid commercial and contractual knowledge Experience managing valuations, variations and change processes Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Apply Apply now to find out more or to have a confidential discussion about whether this M&E Quantity Surveyor opportunity aligns with what you are looking for.
