Job Description - Quantity Surveyor

We're looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of the full cost life cycle of projects.

The Role:

In the Quantity Surveyor role, you'll be primarily responsible for managing the full cost life cycle of multi-million pound industrial and commercial roofing projects.

You'll report to the Commercial Director and you'll spend part of the working week in the company's Midlands office. For the rest of the week, you will be working from home.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

- Preparing monthly valuations

- Pricing variations

- Checking and signing off sub-contract works

- Procurement and maintain good relationships with suppliers

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Quantity Surveyor role will have relevant experience of the full cost life cycle of projects.

You'll also need experience of:

- Flat roofing and various systems

- Cladding, sfs and Metsec

- Preparing and submitting final accounts

In addition, it's essential that you possess knowledge of jct & NEC contracts.

Basic salary: Â£45,000 - Â£50,000 per annum depending on experience
